Creative Director for Olivia Rodrigo’s Official Live Performance series made in collaboration with Vevo and Sephora.

Channeling the spirit, intensity and raw power of a 90s era Riot Grrl, Olivia delivered three intense live performances from her sophomore album GUTS, including All American Bitch, Pretty Isn’t Pretty and Get Him Back.

Staged deep inside the crumbling relic of the Million Dollar Theater in DTLA my team designed and created three unique environments - an underground (literally) DIY punk club in the sub-basement, an interconnected web of dressing rooms cantilevered over the stage rigging and of course, the grand finale front and center in the original Art Deco ballroom.

Our highly detailed production design encompassed over 500 original hand made gig flyers and with all graphic design appearing as practical elements on posters, custom T shirts, hand stamps and the perpetual classic - lipstick on a mirror.

Captured on 16mm film and a vintage broadcast Beta-Cam the only period detail missing was the clouds of cigarette smoke that would have filled every corner of the space (we used non-toxic haze).
